We are 2 sisters with roots in both Denmark and Sri Lanka. Our father, who was from Sri Lanka, met our mother on her first trip to asia in 1975. Our mother visited this beautiful paradise island, at that time called Ceylon, and fell in love with the Culture, the nature and our father.

From early childhood we where introduced to the culture in Sri Lanka and the people that allways smiles. This positive and beautiful country, that has surffered through civil war, has allways been in our hearts, though we where brought up in Denmark.
Now that our father has past away, he left us in his will the land that his father and mother gave to him. Our grandfather cultivated rubber trees on this land, but today it is as a wild jungle. We think it is time to give back to mother earth and want to keep it as a wild jungle.

Mission

Our mission is to show the craftmanship you get in Sri Lanka, to sell beautifull handmade products and to invest in more wild nature.

Philosophy

Our philosophy is to respect what we inherit and pass it to the next generation, as we must understand how to take care of our planet, so there will be many more years on this special beatiful planet in our univers.

We also belive in knowledge and craftmanship in art, as this was something our mother and grandmother from Denmark learned us about since we where small kids.

Drawing and painting was a big part my life when I was small. I used to draw and learn from my grand mother, when I was on holidays or visiting her. She inspired me in art and design, and I have worked through my adult life as a fashion designer for 19 years and still love art, design and craftmanship.
