From Sketch to Batik:
A Tribute to Our Grandmother’s Art
For this collection, we were inspired by our grandmother’s beautiful drawings. We wanted to give her artwork a new perspective by transforming her delicate sketches into traditional batik. Our grandmother graduated from the School of Arts and Crafts, now known as The Royal Danish Academy. At the time, she was one of the few women to attend art school, making her journey particularly special. She has always been a great inspiration to us, and now we are proud to share some of her beautiful artwork with you. These delicate flower sketches have been reimagined as batik, creating unique designs for you to wear as a beautiful dress or enjoy as part of your home, such as on bedsheets.
